I still think the girlfriend is a factor - at that age my biggest disagreements with my folks were about sacrifices I was making in my future because I wanted to stay near my boyfriend. I can't even buy into the fact that he'd consider OSU.

Why would his parents be upset if he was choosing to go to an LA school? Schools they have visited many times, I'm sure.

That's what I thought too. Not sure he's even been here with Darnay.
