Eli grew up a Buckeye fan and had them #1 on his list long before Meyer entered the picture. The foundations for this were laid by Jim Tressel.

Assuming Ohio State lands Woodard on Thursday, they'll have four commits that are ranked 4* and 5* by Rivals, Scout & 24/7.

Not much that could have been done about this one, but good luck to him nonetheless, except against us.

 
FYI, Eli changed his last name and took his stepfather's name recently. So if anyone is wondering where Eli Woodard went, this is him. 24/7 is the only recruiting service that hasn't changed his name in their database yet as of this post.
