I really have nothing but respect for the kid. He played the game and played it perfectly. Even if he didn't commit, he brought alot of excitment and fun to this board and Husker Nation. I salute you Reggie, you did nothing wrong, you chose a school where you felt you could have the most success. :thumbs :thumbs

 
Well, it sucks he isn't coming here. He had to have been under quite a bit of pressure to stay in state though.

Why don't these kids tell the truth from the start. If they want to stay close to home then say it. That way our recruiters can look elsewhere and not waste their time.

It would be nice, but who said he wasn't considering all schools in the mean time. Sure he ended up staying at home, but that doesn't mean he wasn't seriously considering going to another school during the past 6 months.

 
I'm sure the Smith wanted to weigh his options, it's just that we had Blake in his living room the other night, where as Blakes efforts may have been used elsewhere, especially since were not his top 2 choices. I'm not going to whine about it further though, this class on paper is great.
