CB Raymond Ford

So at this point is it either ford or shelton? No way we take both? Or is it shelton or bust, we are done withford?

 
From everything I've heard/read this week, it's Shelton or bust. I really don't understand it, because I think Ford was really interested. Everyone has told me that Shelton is a silent commit and therefore Ford is expendable...

 
When I said Shelton was a silent commit, Raymond Ford supposedly booted us out and his final 3 are: Utah, Cal, and Washington St.

 
Read on some other boards that many think Ford is still a possibility. Not sure who to believe at this point.

 
All the scouting services don't even mention Ford interested in Nebraska, or talked about his signing....BUT we are still in it with Ford. He's deciding Wednesday.

Final 3: Cal, Colorado, Nebraska....not Utah and Washington St like they stated

 
That's GREAT news, Big Ern. I say bring him in along with the other 5... that'd give us 20. Man, if we pulled that off somehow, it'd be an A+ class.

And FWIW, ain't no way in hell he's going to Colorado. I think it's either us or Cal.............

Hope we are still in the picture...but have a feeling it may be Cal. Can't wait for Wednesday. I'm ready for spring ball!! GBR

 
Cal just lost one of their best recruiters to Washington and their class is falling apart. All the Cal fans on another board I read are pissed, so I'd be mildly surprised if he ends up there.

 
Good. Maybe Nebraska fans had written him off too soon... maybe he's been a silent commit all along and was one of the ones waiting to see if we had room?

 
Question is: if you could choose 1 would you take Ford or Shelton? I personally think Shelton's film is remarkable and i'd grab him over Ford if I could.
