I really doubt they'd cut him loose if they allowed him to commit so early.  They'd have held him off if that were the case.

I've heard Fisher is pretty high on Lynum after seeing him at satellite camp.

I think this rhetoric gets used too much on lower rated guys. Every Tom, d!(k and Harry new Gunnerson was underrated. There's a reason ND and others tried jumping in the mix. 

Is Lynum underrated or properly rated, I don't know. Fisher saw him in person and at this point I don't have much reason to doubt Fish. Now you start taking full position classes of "these guys" and question marks begin forming. 

Big Ern could be right too, as he said it happened last class. We were happy with Grayson then out of nowhere Thompkins seriously wanted N.

FYI, Travis Fisher has offered Lynum's 2022 teammate Markieth Williams, aka Poke Smoker.  This kid I know.  Coached him 2 years ago in Pop Warner, where he lead us to Nationals (meaning we beat a MIami team) before missing weight.  Right now he's playing FS & WR.  IMO, he's a better WR prospect, but I don't think anybody will see that unless Evans gets a QB who can throw the ball.
