The Advocate has an inside look at LSU’s decision to keep Les Miles. The paper reports LSU and Jimbo Fisher’s representatives were in negotiations, but some big names and Governor Bobby Jindal supported Miles’ return and ended the split among school officials. The cost to dismiss Miles and hire Fisher would have been more than $30 million
