CFB Coaching Carousel 2018-2019

If purdue opens up, Mike Leach would make the B1G West even more interesting.  Definitely a division with diverse personalities.

Les miles to ku seems like a terrible idea. He'll never have any where near the talent he had at lsu at ku. His offense could never keep up with the others in the big 12. Ku needs a matt campbell type which of course is easier said than done. If les miles under achieved at lsu no way he is successful at ku.

Plus Les is passed his prime. If KU hires Les Miles, it'll be Charlie Weis 2.0

He’ll put together a good defense at KU. It will be unique in the B12

I was hoping Urban would leave Ohio State this year or next and they would hire Les. He seemed good enough for a top program to give him a second shot, but not good enough to not take them places like Bob Stoops or someone else might.

At some point I feel like Kansas should just let a coach stay for longer and see what happens. I think they should have given Beaty another year since they had won 3 games this season at the point his firing was announced. After the announcement they only lost to Kansas State by 4 points. Here's how they've done since Gill who was only given 2 seasons - I still don't know what they were thinking there unless they didn't get along with him. He went 2-10 at Buffalo in his first season and ended up doing a decent job considering how horrid they were before him. I bolded the winning % of the non interim coaches.

I would agree except that Beaty had shown to be an idiot with his thoughts all over the place. He just wasn't cut out to be a head coach

I know nothing about him so it's good there was another reason.

I guess since it's Kansas Miles has to seem like a slam dunk hire. He did do a decent job at Oklahoma State where he can't have been getting a lot of good recruits, but he was 50 at the time.
