Just a little blurb about next season.

Already geared up for 2007

5. If you’re looking for another reason to watch the bowl games, it’ll be a chance to see how several of the top teams develop going into 2007. This was a stepping-stone season after an epic 2005, and 2007 has the potential to be almost as fantastic.

Ohio State will have a reverse of this year losing the offensive stars, but getting the stars back on defense. Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, USC, Oklahoma, Auburn, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Texas and Arkansas are just a few of the teams coming back loaded, while LSU, if QB JaMarcus Russell returns, and Louisville, if QB Brian Brohm comes back for a senior year, will be in the national title hunt. That’s not even including teams like Nebraska, who should be great with former Arizona State QB Sam Keller at the offensive helm, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Tennessee and California, who are all top 15-caliber.

So scout it out. Several of the players you’ll see shining in the bowls will be headliners next year
