CFN ranks Neb 17...

I'm kinda confused about Michigan being ahead of us!!!
I'm not.. Even though i believe we should be ahead of them. Michigan is rated really good on ncaa 2007. They get so much hype just like notre dame every year

Personally, I don't hate ND. I just hate the way the media always makes them out to be one of the best teams every year. They could lose all their starters and the entire coaching staff, but the media would still predict that they are going to destroy all of their opponents and win title after title. I just thought it was nice to see some coverage that isn't as biased as most media outlets.
:yeah :yeah :yeah

When i went to the notre dame game in indiana I was impressed with the stadium and most of their fans. I Will hardly ever watch one of their games on TV though. I have never liked nd and never will. Just one of those teams I don't care for.

The polls are what kill me. they win a game or two and they jump way up. They lose a game and they barley drop. We lose a game and we have cement shoes and our poll boat is sinking fast.

I can live with where we are starting and when we finish the season we will know that we have earned where we are rated.

correct, being the "media darlings" that they are.......it will never change, all that positive press and coverage gives them a recruiting edge too....having Charlie Weiss at the helm doesn't hurt them either......they are what they are and bitching about it and them won't change it.......but first chance we get to play them, we need to whip their a$$!!!!!!

You know, last year in Aggie BBall, Jay Bilas did the same to us...kept saying we kept having to do this and that to make the NCAA Tourney, every time we did it, he raised the bar on what we needed to do. We ended up one 3 pointer at the buzzer away from the Sweet 16. It was nice to see him shut up.

The Huskers do what we all expect them to do, ('cept for beating the Ags, I'm still hoping they overlook us;)) and the media will choke on their lack of attention to NU. This year, I believe, NU is poised to retake its spot in national prominence.

Just your standard token Aggie/2nd Tier Husker opinion.

it good to have an outside opinion of the Huskers, even though you are a closet Husker fan. I do have to disagree with you on one point, I hope NU doesnt overlook aTm, reguardless of the record aTm is hard to beat at home. Just like NU.

Good luck to the Aggies this year

Yeah, I know. With the Huskers as they are this year, I'm sure they won't overlook A&M. Kyle is tough at home...like Memorial. And there's no closet about it ;) I'm out in the open. Having a girlfriend who went to NU kinda helps :)

I think NU vs aTm will be a good football game. The better defense will determine the winner, IMO. I cant wait to see NU and aTm put the stomp on KU two weeks in a row on the 30th and the 7th. :cheers

A ND loss ranks right up there with a Husker win for me. I do not like them and do not have time to list all the reasons. Where I am from in Nebraska, you either love the huskers or hate them. Then you either hate ND or love them. Most of the no minds that like ND are the same no minds that hate the huskers and vice versa so, to hell with them!

Me and a guy I work with (ND fan) got into a good debate over which team is better and their histories and traditions! Needless to say he was pissed by the end of the convo.

Uhh, guys?

Notre Dame IS worthy of a top-five selection, at least at this point. They'll score almost at will, making up for a suspect defense.

Now, will that defense get them in trouble, and could they lose a couple of games as a result? Sure.

But as of now, ND should be ranked ahead of us.
I agree ND performed better than we last year, that being said ND will not be in the title game.
