Just had a job offer out there. Anyone from the area. What are the pluses and minuses?

Not from the area . . . but I've camped out that way. You're a long ways from any city. Whether that's a plus or a minus probably depends on your interests.

As someone who went from a big city to a small little town for a job...my advice would be not to do it.

It all depends on what you like. There are absolutely beautiful areas within just a short drive to do many things out doors. If you like the city night life....maybe not for you. If you like camping, hiking, fishing, hunting....etc....it might be the place for you.

Call me an uneducated "big city" person, but what job opportunities are still available in "smaller towns"? I guess there are companies that are run by people who wanted to stay in that area, but I am generally surprised by people who choose to relocate smaller cities.
