Chances of dropping Adidas after our contract is up?

Getting fleeced by Adidas.

UCLA - Adidas - $7.5M/yr

Cal - UA - $8.6M/yr

Indiana - Adidas - $6.7M/yr

Neuter Dame - UA - Reported ~ $9.0+M/yr

Kansas - Adidas - $6.4M/yr

Michigan - Nike - $15.4M/yr

Nebraska - Adidas - $6.2M/yr

Indiana and Kansas make more than we do. Sure, it isn't much more but really? I think we need to pressure Adidas when time comes in a couple years and tell them we need to be the highest paid Adidas school or we're out. The Michigan contract with Nike is just ridiculous.

I saw that Cal just signed with Under Armour. That's some major cash.

It looks like Adidas likes throw money at their "basketball schools" so that's why KU, UCLA, and Indiana are making more than Nebraska.

I would think BBall is a bigger driver than FB in apparel and shoe sales just based on the level of endorsement contracts NBA players get vs. NFL players. Explains a lot why KU and IU have bigger annual payouts.

I'd imagine it's more because of our deal being negotiated a while ago while many of the ones ahead of us are more recent. The next time we get a new deal, whoever it's with, it's going to be worth more than the current one.
