Four-Star Recruit
I have a link.....an ESPN link. Can I post that on this board? I get a bit confused about whether or not that is OK.
In the words of every sitcom character in the early '90s, and everyone in the Midwest through the rest of the '90s, "Don't go there."we need to concentrate on ISU and forget the national championship talk. Mizzou was talking national championship last week. Nough said!
Miss St. contacted the NCAA to inform them that someone representing Newton asked for 180k. They said No, so he didn't go there. Allegedly anyway. Seems to me that Auburn is involved with this. They just talked about it on the GT/VT half time and said more info is on espn.com. They said it was only to do with Miss st, and not his recruitment at Auburn. The Newton family denies it.Is this controversial news on ESPN at all!?? Crap might just hit the fan...
sd'sker lets not talk about our MNC chances because it will distract out team. :sarcasmIn the words of every sitcom character in the early '90s, and everyone in the Midwest through the rest of the '90s, "Don't go there."we need to concentrate on ISU and forget the national championship talk. every team in position thinks about the national championship. you do not think the 94 huskers were not thinking about going for two in a row right after they won their first? do you not think that 'bama had mnc on their mind before the sec championship? it can be a motivator as much as a distraction.
Well....if Miss St. couldn't go forth with the deal...then who did!? Really makes you question Auburn's integrity at this time.Miss St. contacted the NCAA to inform them that someone representing Newton asked for 180k. They said No, so he didn't go there. Exactly...that amount of bucks moving around...there is a paper trail somewhere...or digital records...no doubt about it.Newton claims he had no relationship with the person that claims to be speaking on his behalf asking for the cash. But it should be pretty easy to look at the book from the church they supposedly gave it to.
