Personally, I like the idea of scripting the first 15 plays. Everyone should know exactly what to do on at least those first 15 plays. Plus, you shouldn't have many/any penalties due to having practiced extensively these plays. The part I don't like is the production we've seen thus far from these scripted play. I just watched the OU game for the first time on TV last night. They gave the production numbers from the scripted plays thus far this season, and it was dismal. I don't know whether the defenses from other teams change that much for NU, or whether BC and staff just aren't doing their homework on the teams we're playing. Either way, the scripted plays should be a lot more productive than they are. Again, I'm a fan of scripting plays. However, our production from these plays just sucks thus far this season!
