He's not wrong. Those of us who live outside of Nebraska realize the damage that's been done to NU's national reputation and image the past several years. I am surrounded by fans of many different football programs on a day-to-day basis, and all of them are dumbfounded that Pelini is still NU's coach. Generally, these other fans think Pelini is an idiot and a maniac, and that NU must be even more idiotic to retain such a man as head coach.

Now, I don't think this assessment of Bo is necessarily fair, but perception is 9/10 of reality. Bo should know this, Bo must know this, yet he continues to behave in ways that damage the national brand of the school and team.

I have said it before and I will say it again...The national media has painted Bo as a lunatic but in reality, he is not the only one that acts that way on the sideline...Go check out videos of Brian Kelly, Saban, Muschamp, and Stoops...There are many more that act as worse as Bo but nothing ever gets said. It is no different then the media going bonkers over Tebow even when he suck sh#t through a straw the last couple years. The media grabs onto something and they just continually run it into the ground, especially ESPN.

Did you even watch ESPN's 2-hour selection show? The only games they talked about and discussed were he BSC bowls. It's not like we were the only ones left out.

I did in fact watch a lot of the awful 2-hour selection show, and your statement is incorrect. Perhaps you're thinking of the shorter BCS Bowl Selection Special that aired before it. On the 2-hour selection show they did discuss many of the non-BCS bowls, some for several minutes.

I just thought it was funny that we didn't even get a single word as they ran through the lesser bowl slides towards the end. The prestigious Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl got the mention over the Gator Bowl.

ESPN plays crap that people want to see. A good portion of people like to see a "train wrecks", this is why there are so many reality shows, why people slow down to look at accidents. Don't blame ESPN. Blame Bo for giving them footage like that and blame humans for their fascination with crazy things. Bobby Knight, Tressel, Woody, ect didn't get any mercy from ESPN, why should Bo
