I'm finally able this year to meet with Chicago area fans on Saturday and watch Nebraska Football. Any suggestions on the best places to see the Big Red and meet other fans?

You know, my name suggests that i should be able to help you out, but I am a student at the university right now, so I watch all my games from the stadium or Lincoln. I know that there is a husker watch site at a bar, and I think I can get the name of it for you. Give me until tomorrow. I will ask around for ya.

This coming from a guy who was hunched over outside of Ameristar casino last month puking his guts out after about 3 beers! I have pictures if anyone is interested
There are 3 Husker bars in Chicago.
The main one is McGees on Sheffield and Webster.

This place can get nuts on game days (especially if the game is not broadcast nationally). You need to show up an hour or two before game time to get a seat. They have a bloody mary bar, waitresses sometimes where husker shirts (I tip the ones that do better) and they play the fight song really loud when we score. Last year they put up probably 10 new plasmas and they have a giant big screen. If it's an 11 am game, I recommend getting there around 9:45-10 and ordering their huge breakfast plate and a beer.

I've never been there on a game day but it's a pretty cool place. They have a ton of TVs.
All 3 of these places put up Nebraska flags outside on game days which is cool.

Man, I would like to post them...but I don't want to start a war with Hoyamann...he's got 4 years of dirt (with photos) on me. I'd rather not see some of those stories and pictures posted in retaliation.

Well, I do have some photos from Mexico and college that we could add! However, it's probably best not to do that.
As far as the casino incident, it was food poisoning I later found out. I've been able to out-drink the gimp since I first spilled punch on him as a freshman. Those photos show nothing! The best photos/videos of that night at the casino were actually deleted!
