4.5million sounds low for Kelly. McElwain was making 4.4, granted he was overpaid but I would think Kelly gets 5. Certainly hope it's true though.

Reported on CBS news at 11pm, the UCLA was talking to him, and Sumlin was in the running.  He was second to Mora when he was hired.

Word is Kelly is due a bonus from the 49ers as long as he doesn't sign a contract prior to the end of this regular season.

So he was probably never going to sign anything until Sunday.

I kind of thought the same thing.  But the report was the end of the college regular season.

I would guess when he left the 49ers they figured there was a good chance he'd look to go back to a college team so it could have been written that way.  Probably not much chance of signing with a new NFL team between now and the end of the NFL regular season anyway.

I can't find the link, but I swore it was ESPN (maybe BR) that was saying it was a 3 horse race for Kelly.  UCLA/UF/and a mysterious 3rd team is how the click bait read.  Didn't click it, but curious how much Moos has talked to Kelly.
