Chris Brooks on Meet the Huskers

I heard the radio spot on 1620 this morning. Brooks talked about how he's had nagging injuries when he first got here but didn't want that to be an excuse. He said even if you're number one in high school you start at the bottom when you get to college. He also talked about how his son is motivation for him to do well.

I hope he gets the chance soon! :thumbs

He is a big receiver, and has a lot of talent, so I think he will get the chance to prove himself soon.

He sound like a good kid. Anyone know how fast he is? Is he stricly a possession receiver or is he also a deep threat?

I think he'll be a possession receiver. Listed at 6-2, 200 on roster.

Has he played this year? If not, wouldn't he be a good candidate to redshirt. We have at least 3 contributing receivers graduating after next year. Spread out the talent a little bit so he can get some significant PT
