Chris Polk Parting Shot?

What a baby. Reminds me when Chad May cried about Christian Peter poking his eyes under the pile (though... I don't find that one too hard to believe ;) )

Well, when our LB's and DB's are the ones trying to tackle him half the time, and with him being a bowling ball, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't try to go for smhoulder either....
Exactly! With someone like him that has a low center of gravity and a thick lower body I feel that is the only way to tackle him. I'm sure the Pelinis emphasised this in practice. Cannot tackle him high and expect to bring him down as we seen in the Holiday Bowl. Get real man. Still a heck of a back that will be playing on Sundays though.

"They went more for my kneecaps," Polk said. "They went more for my ankles. They tried to tackle me low as opposed to up high. They really held onto my legs. That's just football, I guess."

What a clown.
Isn't this the reason why RBs drill running through tires, so they will step out of tackle attempts that are too low?
Pretty much. I understand being frustrated about bad calls. But this? Pfft whatever dude.

They came into this game genuinely expecting a win after that fluke in San Diego. You're more likely to take shots and try to mitigate a loss when you really think you're the better team. We were the same way ISU in 2009.

Polk ran hard all game, and is a good football player. But when you go the media and piss and moan about being your legs being tackled now you just look like a baby. Suck it up, this is D1 football buddy.

I can't recall a defender ever getting a 15 yard penalty and getting a one game suspension for hitting a ball carrier low. On the other hand, there have been a plenty of 15 yard penalties and a couple of suspensions for hitting a ball carrier high.

I bet if we were still in the Big 12, Crick would've been suspended for his hit on Price
Ed Cunningham would've sh#t his pants.
I sh#t you not Saturday night I turned over to the Utah BYU game real quick and the first voice I hear is ed cunnting-ham going off about targeting! Holy flippin cowpies was I pissed, so I promptly turned the channel and could no longer watch a game I legitimately wanted to watch all because of that d bag and his holier than thou attitude.

Apparently Chris forgot that Nebraska's miscues kept Washington from being completely embarrassed.

It goes both ways, buddy. Welcome to football.

The good thing is that he will get 3 or 4 more chances this year to learn about how not to be a sore LOSER ..........
