I agree, I have a hard time seeing SJB covering the slot, I can't imagine it going very well. Maybe he does have the hips for it, but judging by the amount we've seen him, I'd say that would be a blind guess.That would be handy but I would think he'd be more suited to the outside. Tackling would be good but usually taller players aren't known for their change-of-direction trying to cover slants, outs and other quick routes you get out of the slot.I would love to see SJB start at the nickel. As I have been preaching. Perfect size to step into the box for run support and has the hips and speed to not get abused in the slot *cough* Ciante *cough*

8 Sr's on that first team. I like to think that that this defense will be more consistent with 8 sr's and some of these guys will make that last year jump....so maybe we will be sneaky good this year on D. Just a couple of things to iron out... heal up the DL, develop better pocket pressure and get those LB's sharpened&shored up. 29 practices to do it & whole summer to heal.
