no kidding...and he didnt do much to inspire confidence on his first play.
Bo wants him to go for the ball like that. He's on record saying so, specifically about Anthony West. That's why they have help over the top.

Hey, the kid is a freshman! I think he played solid. Another year or two of coaching this kid is going to play lights out defense.

 
We're at the point defensively where we just reload, not rebuild. Obviously our d-line is not as good as it was last year, but that will happen once in a while when you lose one of the best DTs to ever play the game. Now, our d-line is just one of the top 2-3 in the conference, not the country like it was last year.
