We almost lost our last 5 games which would have caused us to miss another bowl. We managed 2 more wins than that team. Neither team is the same as last year. If Cincy wins 9 games this year does that change how you feel about game 1?
No, they're not a good team. This should have been a 35-17 or 42-10 game, but it was sloppy. None of that changes the fact that it's not a good plan to put that many miles on your feature back the first game of the year against a mid to bottom of the barrel Big 12 team. It's very concerning right now that no one else stepped up or was given a chance. It's good that we have some tune up games ahead but Michigan is going to be a physical game for everyone and we need Johnson 100% to even have a shot.
