Starting this thread off with a nice article from the Omaha paper. Getting this topic started with an article from the Omaha paper. It is a nice read. I would love to have the chance to land around six players on the list.

Very nice article detailing the 500 mile radius from years past to present. I know our coaches have mentioned they want to get more commitments from players within the 500 mile radius. Before anyone jumps the gun, just remember that the location where BCS talent is available fluctuates every year. So there will be years where you have to go outside the 500 mile radius to fill most of your class.

For the 2014 class I think we could see more players from the 500 mile radius.

One thing is for sure, we need to land more of the Rivals 250 players that are in the 500 mile radius. If we can do a better job in this area we can land more elite talent.
