The most recent "dynasty" you could point to would be USC. At least, they were tabbed "dynasty" by all the ESPN puppets. I would say they did dominate the college football scene for quite some time. The fact they are located in southern California I think has a lot to do with that. You still hear about how great those teams were, even though the entire time period seems to be full of scandal and violations. Now that they are suspended and banned from bowl participation they are slightly off the radar. Just give it til' next season though, they will be back strong as ever. It will be all you can hear about, and ESPN will act like the violations never happened. Hell, guys like Herbstreit, Musberger, and Colin Cowherd still talk about them as if they are Gods, even while the punishment is being handed out to them. It's a sign of the corruption and money that has somewhat poisoned the game of football. It's sad that doing things the right way seems to be an after thought in the world of college football. It's all about results, no matter how they are attained.

We're living in Bama's dynasty right now IMO. Saban is a wizard, and since he can use 100 scholarships in 4 years when others can only use 80-85, it's pretty hard to compete with that.

Totally agree.

Kirk has a boner for all things Southern Cal.

We've had some mini dynasties lately. USC, then Florida, now Alabama.

I can't stand the methods they use to get the job done, but they have the trophies, not I.

Don't they have Cam Newton's father on tape asking for more money? And then Auburn wins a title, and it all just blew over? How is that possible?

Another fine example of it right there. Hell I had even forgotten about that already, that's how well they slid that under the rug. All you hear about is the great Cam Newton. I have to be honest though, I'd take him over Tim Tebow to run my Broncos offense. Not saying I don't like Tebow, because I do, but Cam has that killer instinct, he knows where to go with the ball whether it be running or passing. You could surely say Tebow is far more hated than Cam Newton is, and Tebow is a Saint! Cam Newton has basically bent every rule he could to become successful, yet the hatred out there for Tebow seems quite a bit higher than it is for Cam. I don't get it.

I'm so sick of the SEC. Two teams playing each other for the title? That was a joke.

And what about Miami? Why don't they have the death penalty yet? They gave hookers to teenagers!
