our defense was great today, props to spiller though, his returns were hurting us there. Clemson is very good football team, and i wish them the best next year

You and everyone else in Husker Nation....Good Lord...could the defense had played ANY BETTER??? I cannot believe the intensity and consistency that the Blackshirts played with! WOW! Great game and a perfect way to end the season...with a Husker team proving that they can come from behind and make it THEIR game!

 
Steinkuhler played his a$$ off too. Hell Blake Lawrence had a good game.

We consistently stepped up when we needed to today. It was all about timely tackles (sometimes even simply making a tackle), sacks, two blocked kicks, and consistent pressure. What a great game by the D.

 
The defense played very good today and made plays when it counted. I am excited about the future of this program and where they will go. I hope they keep the momentum up in the offseason and into spring ball.

 
The defense played fantastic and I don't know if they could've played much better. Obviously there are some things, I swear I want to beat O'Hanlon sometimes.

 
You have to give their defense a lot of credit too, they kept our running game in check for the most part til the end, too. I think even though we didn't have the substitution that they had, we wore them down with our size and with the fact that we won the battle for TOP. I am sure they were well aware of our dominance this season with TOP, and they made it part of their game plan to keep our offense off the field, which they did the first half pretty much.

 
On defense it all starts up front, and boy did them boys play some ball today!!!!

Props to the secondary too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Williams, Norman and the other fast LBs get in here, this defense is gonna be making plays and the same will be said on offense with upgrade back to the I-backs like Phillips, Green and the others thatcould play for anyone.

 
This program will be one of the top defenses in a couple of years. It will surely be the top one in the Big 12 for years to come, you can see it building.
