At NU we have the pressure to keep the 'Streak' going - the # of sold out games. So we have corporations buying over priced tickets, to watch subpar games and artificially support the price level of the tickets and gives the false allusion that current performance & the pricing is AOK because the stadium is sold out. Of course the vicious circle would continue if we took away the allusion. We'd have to fire the coach and bring in the highest paid coach possible to fill the stadium back up.
