Good for Va.Tech. I think Franklin can get them back to 7 or 8 wins. Occasionally 9 wins. A magical year with 10 wins. But most importantly, a winning program that goes to Bowl Games and participates.

However, I think it's chicken crap for him to not coach the Hokies right now, right away. I mean, if you are really in it to be a football head coach and not in it for the money and pride thing.

Just go coach them and replace the interim HC. Get to know your current players and get on the sidelines.

But, he's "going to be at the final 2 games in the stands"..... SMH

The ACC is bad. He'll do better than that.

Yes the ACC is bad. It's been bad for awhile. And Clemson has always benefited from it. Not this year lol. They are bad themselves with the rest of them.

I find it incredible that SMU is 14-1 in the ACC since joining the conference. Last year in CCG SMU was tied with Clemson 31-31 with 16 seconds left as SMU was kicking off. Clemson kicked a walk-off FG.

Interesting, SMU outgained Clemson in yards 458 to 326.

Even more interesting (and nearly impossible to image) - Clemson never had a penalty in the game. Zero.

I hope SMU wins the Conference & CCG this year as much as I wanted them to win last year. Maybe even more now because of last year's ACC CCG.
