Coaching Nomination Thread

I'm sure he's not going to leave the NFL, but I've been impressed with what Adam Gase has done this year. He's made Cutler into a decent quarterback. What's impressive is that he actually tailors his game plans to what benefits his players and to what benefits the defense. He actually has done it - not just talked about it.

Tom Herman

Troy Calhoun

Justin Fuente

Ron Rivera

Pat Narduzzi

Scott Frost
I'd play in this pool.

The Sock Puppet. This is the yearly HB team nomination thread, right?

And where is Ron Rivera coming from. Guy has an undefeated team in the NFL right now. Don't believe he will be looking or wanting a job.

1. David Shaw.

2. Kyle Whittingham

3. Justin Fuente

4. Tom Herman

5. Ed Orgeron

Doesn't matter, seeing as how Eichorst just gave a glowing pat on the back to the HFBC at Nebraska right now.
Yes to all by Orgeron. His time a Ole Miss was a disaster (10-25 overall, 3-21 in conference).

Top 4 Do-able choices

1. Tom Herman, although rumors have him going to Texas a given-thanks Iowa ST.

2. Scott Frost, with some Huskers coming along like Turner and Ron Brown ( Must install sense of pride back)

3. Mark Richt- although not a big fan of his, he can recruit, he can win 9 games on most years. Frank Solich 2.0 is my fear

4. Anybody other than current staff

I nominate Scott Frost.

Tommie Frazier. He looks more and more like Mangino every time I see him.

Shaw's style of offense would make people happy. A pass first offense but out of a power run formation using TEs as the extra receivers instead of 4 wide. Downhill running. About as 50/50 as it gets.

Realistically, Perlman quits, Echorst out, Riley has next year. Win and he gets another, loose and he's out.
