@IntheDeedtheGlory: the NFL is willing to take people with criminal records, we all know that. It's just a "risk" and at the 5th round, a pretty low one.
The story actually holds a lot of water(*IMO), except Glenn came out and said it was scalping tickets. Given (especially) the recent complete denial of this by the NU athletic dept., the story carries even more clout. Now, I don't know (and I doubt that I, or any of us who don't, SHOULD know) exactly what went down, but we all pretty much know now that it's not selling tickets. What a reversal.
