Be careful. Be very, very careful. Nebraska is absolutely good enough to waltz into L.A. and hang 450 yards and 38 points on the board if the Trojan D isn’t fully prepared. However, USC is absolutely good enough to torch the mediocre Husker secondary (don’t let the zero passing yards allowed against Nicholls State fool you) and roll to the type of blowout win that’ll make the rest of the nation finally wake up and realize that this is the most talented team in college football.

So what do you think? Are they really the #1 team in the nation?

Top three in the country.... ooh baby that sounds good to these ears. If our secondary can make some plays, we can hang with them and pull the upset.

So are the two starters still out of the USC secondary, that will help us a little bit if they are.

Top 3 seems like a pretty big jump....not that I wouldn't love it but I doubt the Coaches or AP poll would have us that high.

If we win I would say we would go to number 9. The lowest would be about 11.

Yes! Kevin Smith CB and Josh Pinkard FS

a true freshman is replacing Pinkard but SC feels very confident

Pinkard is done for the season with an ACL not sure about Smith but he is out for our game next saturday

If we win, how do you think the team will respond. I think they are mature enought to not let the higher ranking get to them. Should be interesting.

With the leaders we have (ZT, Carriker, Moore, Mann, etc) I think the team will keep their egos in check until after we beat Texas and then make our way to Arizong for NC game.
