International Man of Mystery
Hey, we're top ten in this thing! With a great game by Rex, we could move into the top three.

Here's just the chart.

Wow that's a pretty cool stat actually.  So what Huskers make up that 383 yards?  Roger Craig is one off the top of my head.

Craig and Rathman are good bets for a lot of it - I feel like there are some guys like Brandon Jackson who chipped in some small amounts.

I'm also curious about Oklahoma State - is it literally all Thurman Thomas? And when has Texas Tech ever had a running back? Bam Morris I guess, but it can't all be him.

Thurman Thomas had a combined 204 rushing yards in the Bills' four-year Super Bowl run from 1990-1993. Not sure who had the other 200+ yards.

Super Bowl          Player                      Carries        Yards

14                      Vince Ferragamo         1                    7

19                      Roger Craig                   15                 58

23                      Roger Craig                   17                 71

23                      Tom Rathman               5                   23

24                      Roger Craig                   20                 69

24                      Tom Rathman               11                 38

47                      Sam Koch                      1                   -8

52                      Rex Burkhead               3                    18

I'm still short somewhere for Nebraska as well - put what I have in a spoiler in case people want to guess. Those aren't off the top of my head, but they were ones I knew Nebraska players were in and I don't want to go game by game. Some interesting stuff I'd forgotten though, like Sam Koch's infamous "run around while my teammates tackle the punt return team and take a safety when time expires" play, which shows up as a -8 yard run.

Ahman Green should be in there....I think. GB made their share of SB appearances.

Slow day here. So here's what I came up with.

Roger Craig:  198 yards in three Super Bowls

Tom Rathman:  61 yards in two Super Bowls

Andre Franklin: 49 yards in one Super Bowl

Vice Ferragamo: 7 yards in one Super Bowl

That gets me to only 315, and accounts for every Husker I can imagine carrying the ball from this list https://www.huskermax.com/super-bowl-huskers/ including Brandon Jackson and Irving Fryar. I'll hand if off to somone else now.

Ahman never made it. I think he was out of the league by 2010.

And yeah, Calvin Jones was mostly a special teams player.

Walt Garrison had 139 yards for Dallas in Super Bowls V and VI
