I feel that if we stop the run and limit our mistakes (penalties, turnovers) we will play very well against this team...i think we match up well with them.....thoughts?

 
The way we played today (minus a couple of long plays) makes me think the Buffs are in for a very long afternoon the day after Thanksgiving. Looks like giving the defense their Blackshirts worked-they played insipred today.

BTW, first post on this board. Wanted to say hi to all.

It is encouraging that the team continues to improve. Next on the list: special teams.

But I like how both the offense and defense are starting to mesh as cohesive units. With two weeks to prepare I think a result similar to today will be a post-Thanksgiving treat.

To be able to finish the season at 8-4 would be great for the Huskers and to have another 30 practices to prepare for a bowl is an awesome reward. That will pay dividends for next season as well.

 
I have seen a couple of Colorado games and they are not impressive at all in any of the three aspects of the game. If we just take care of the ball and do what we do, we will win this game hands down, however if we have turnovers and penalties then we might have a little trouble.

 
will not take this game for granted either, who knows CU could come in and make it a game. they will come to play no doubt about it.

 
I think the boys will do very well. They have a lot of momentum and I hope they can keep it going. Everything seems to be connecting and it seems as if the players are believing in the system now.

 
With the way the front 4 are playing we can negate their strength (running game) and go after whichever mediocre QB is in there. I simply don't see them stopping our offense.

 
Speaking of sCUm fans:

Watching OSU-CU game and some moron was shining a laser pointer into the face of the OSU QB from the stands.

I was watching that game as well and heard that too. What do you except from the idiots that call themselves Colorado Buffalo fans.
