Student section and other changes proposed. Warning to CU students. Come to the stadium drunk, you may not get in.

IMO these changes are long long over due. I guess it took a national embarrassment for policy changes. <_<

Among the ideas discussed at a regent's meetings in Boulder: moving the student section farther from the field or splitting up the section; adding video cameras to watch what students are up to; prohibiting beverage bottles from being brought into the stadium; and placing more security staff in front of the student section.

= putting a bandaid over a gaping wound. :thumbs

spitting up the student section - oh goodie TWICE the terror, lets spread the joyousness into separate parts of the stadium.

placing more security staff - how about requiring the current security staff to do more than stand there like idiots when they are needed.

moving the student section farther from the field - lets hope that when Husker fans buy non-visitor tickets, they are warned that their seats are below the student section. in other words, RED can be a much better target when the students can throw far enough to hit the field...

but hey, at least they've acknowledged there's a problem. that's the first step to recovery, right?
