Combine Numbers

AA 24 reps on Bench.. Slow on his 40 4.61..

Speed vs quickness.

I would ignore AA's 40 yard dash.

I still think he can do better than 4.61.

Back to the start of this thread where so many posters have had "awesome numbers" I really don't think there is one poster on this site that would/did run a 4.61

I dont think anyone is criticizing Ameer saying they can do better but ya, i doubt many people here could touch any of the combine numbers but you never know.

I wouldnt be shocked to find some quick guys who could do a sub 5.0 40 yard

I think you are 100% correct...I think that there might be a few on this site that were just under 5.0.

And sorry, I did not mean that anyone was bagging on AA...I just LOVE the "numbers" that some of the posters put up! haha

Exactly!

These guys have spent the last few years AND the last 3 months, just training for this...

Yet we have some common folk that will swear they ran a 4.4 in HS

When they show the top all time RB's it it slow overall.. But speed is a relative term.. If being chased by a ferocious animal I just have to be faster than 1 other person..

5 out of 26 guys to run so far are sub 4.6

That's a pretty slow RB group overall. Not a lot of speedy prospects - lots of big bodied guys this year.
