Compton making a strong push at Mike LB?

Huskersillustrated.com has a teaser about this on the front page. Could be an interesting Fall Camp at the LB position! Do you guys think he could start the first game at Mike?

 
If he does more power to the guy and if he starts now as a freshman just wait till he's a Senior and he'll tear stuff up.

Thats what I was thinkin too....and really hes only behind by one Spring Ball in learning the system compared to the upperclassmen. It would be interesting to have a True Fr. as the "quarterback" of the defense!

 
I doubt he starts over Dillard. If he starts over Dillard, the kid has got to be a ridiculous talent. It is very difficult for a true frosh to step in and play the MLB spot.

I have to agree, I would love to see it though. The kid could be a freak of nature by his senior year.

He will get some second team reps.

 
Even if he is in the rotation, that is great. Bo and Carl are going to get the best players on the field. If that means that Will or Phillip have to move positions, then so be it.

 
Compton will surely see the field, but I don't see Dillard moving to the outside. At this point though, anything is possible.
