Hey guys, about 2 month ago i bought a microsoft keyboard/mouse combo, but today i messed up my keyboard. I went and bought a new keyboard different then the one i had, but didnt buy a mouse combo again since the mouse is still good. They are both wireless and right now i have to have both usb transmitter plugged in to get signals to ea. Is there a way to program them both to the samee USB? both microsoft, but different models.

Try buying a usb hub. You can get them at Best Buy or any computer store. Plug both usb's into the port and then only have the single usb that will go into your computer.

well i might end up taking this keyboard back and just buying the one i had. it seems to have sucky response. that is a good idea though.

Hi, I would call Microsoft. The keyboard/mouse combo should have a longer warranty than 2 months. I had a Microsoft wireless mouse that had the USB connector stop working since it was flimsy, and they shipped me a new mouse, same model, no charge when I called them. I forget how long it was but I'm pretty sure that it was a good several months.

yea, but it was user error so they wont cover it. i actually went and took back the new one cause the signal sucked, and got the one i had. I got it out of the box without messing up the tape and tamper tape etc, wonder if could put the broken one back in it and return it witout them knowing. haha
