Confident ISU squad

Let's get one thing straight right now. ISU did not beat us. Nebraska beat us last year. ISU was the recipient of a ridiculously unusual number of turnovers in one game, almost any one of which would have given us the win had it not happened.

Everyone can run up the caution flag all they want, but do NOT use last year's game as "proof" that they can beat us. "Any given Saturday" has more validity.

We could really deflate them just like we did against Missouri with a win down there. That place is going to be going crazy.

Hopefully we'll have some good screen cap opportunities of their fans like we did at Kansas State...

There was a classic screen cap of 2 Missouri fans that I have to get. It was 2 Missouri fans reacting to one of Helu's long runs. Does anyone have it?

i remember seeing that when i re-watched the game last night. they were sitting and just beside themselves.

 
I think Rhoads has done some wonderful things at Ames. Hes done more with less talent, Ive seen in the last 2 years. They always pull one miracle win a year. Last year it was us, this it was Texas. I think we win put prob wont pull away until the second half.

 
Nebraska is now a team that can win out and if things go right, shoot up the polls. Nebraska needs to just remember the let down from last year. ISU will have hostile fans, but we need to run thru the cyclones like a run away truck. The players will settle for nothing less.

 
If you think Bo has forgotten last year and will allow this team to overlook ISU, you're insane. I expect this to get ugly.

 
I hate ISUcks............ <_< They've been running their mouths all season and are just as bad as Iowa fans. I want to destroy them and bury their team in their stadium this Saturday.

 
There is no way that we will have a letdown this time, we will be flinging our fecal matter at them the whole game till they overwhelmed in a pile of it on saturday.

ISU can say anything they want, it is American right to have free speech. They will have to prove it on Saturday that they are a better football team than the Huskers. Prove it!

As for Gabbert comments from last week leading up to the Husker game, he and Pinkel forgot to bring their A game with them. :laughpound

 
I know I'll get crap for saying it, but how funny would it be if the last Big XII championship game was between ISU and Baylor. People would be asking why Nebraska decided to leave the conference and would only have to answer "would you want to be apart of that?"

I was thinking about this, too. I would absolutely love that to happen, if not for the fact that it would mean we lost to ISU again.

If for some reason we lose to the Clones again, I will be rooting for them to face Baylor. Big time.
