ya id probablly second that, they played with heart the whole game, i have a new respect for Clemson now

I have always kinda liked Clemson, though I have no idea why. I don't know anyone from the area or anything. It was definitely cool to get to play them, though.

 
It was a great game...caused me a lot of anxiety. I think we seen the hearts of both teams, and that made this a good game. We also seen that there is some room for improvement on each team. The Gator Bowl committee should be really happy with their picks for this game.

 
I had to calm myself down so many damn times I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I couldn't believe how long of a game it was as well.

it was a heartbreaker if you're a tiger fan, but this is a great beginning for their 2009 campaign. good luck in the ACC next year and we'll see about having the huskers beat up VT for y'all just for good measure.

husker nation, hopefully the foundation has been set. i'm *really* looking forward to next season.

I was really scared of your defensive speed. Physical, too.

I hate losing, but we lost to a great team. Your coaches really got the offense rolling in the 2nd half and we just couldn't make enough plays. I expected a hard hitting game and I think both teams left everything on the field. Good luck next season.

One thing that struck me too, is how solid their tackling was. Not many missed tackles at all. Their special teams did a pretty good job also. :clap

 
What a game! Both D's came to play today. Suh and Steinkuler were amazing! Clemson's D was outstanding, but if we could hang on to the football it's not even close.

I would agree with that. I was really impressed with Clemson's D and overall team speed, but after the first QTR and a Half NU was playing better on both sides of the ball. Turnovers really killed NU early on, got a couple of breaks to help even the score in the 2nd Half. Overall great game, on the edge of my seat until the end, but the difference in total yardage and time of possession tells the story of why NU was the better team today. Really good job by Bo and Crew to keep adjusting during the game. I thought he call one heck of a game on D, really loved the 3 down, 1 LB, and 7 DB look he used in the 2nd half a lot. GO BIG RED!!!!
