I meant to post this earlier today. During the KU/MU game it was announced that Suh won this award.

On a side note, they just announced that Colt McCoy is the Offensive Big XII Player of the Year during the Baylor/TTU game, which btw is a close game at the moment.

 
I've been trying to find official notice on the Big 12 website but no luck yet

Congrats Suh! Very much deserved. Now we get to see the Offensive POTY against the Defensive POTY

How did Cody Hawkins get overlooked for Offensive Big XII player of the year? <_<

I bet Colorado fans were offended everytime he came in. :)

I was dissapointed he wasn't in yesterday I think he would have won it for us :)

 
This thread is about a week too early. They haven't announced anything official yet.

 
I saw it during the Squawks/Tigers game I think. It was the programs picks and not the official Big 12 pick. That along with other conference honors will be released sometime this week building up to the ccg.

I seen something about McCoy winning the POTY award during a different game. Seems it was the USC/UCLA game?

 
Well during the NU/Colorado game, the announcers said that O'Hanlon, Suh and Crick had all won National Defensive Player of the Year awards this year, and they said it more than once. :LOLtartar
