Cornerback - Plenty of Competition

Mosley was said to be the most skilled of the corners who came in last year but needed to get stronger.

I liked Mosley coming out of HS. It thought he was really technical at CB but would have needed to RS because of size (which he did). I looked around and found a picture from him at practice, doesn't look much different than his senior year in HS. JMitch made it work for him; hopefully, Mosley can do the same.

Pretty impressive effort by Mosely. His stock will rise.

Now I have to work on my disposition about Moore which is mostly based on some drops & ho-hum routes last season.

When HCMR talked about switching Brandon Browner to CB because he couldn't catch, the first person I thought of was Alonzo Moore. We're pretty well stocked at CB, but I wouldn't be surprised to see that move made at some point.

With Davie and Jackson out, Rose and Mosley were getting a lot of first team reps at corner. Mosley seems to be impressing.

I thought Kalu had started out at Safety (and perhaps he did) but he's been working at corner for at least a couple weeks and seems to be fitting in nicely. Had a pick and a fumble recovery today. We have young corners coming out our ears (no pun intended). Chris Jones also getting some mentions the last couple days.

Isn't Kalu built more like a corner than safety? He seemed kind of slender. If he can add more picks to this defense as a corner, then that's great. He had a pretty good 1st year.
