FOX Sports will make history this week with comprehensive coverage of the Bowl Championship Series.

The network also launches a new era in online sports broadcasting beginning with Monday's AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic between Auburn and Nebraska, as FOX streams a live online simulcast of the game.

The free netcast kicks of FOX's online bowl coverage of the Bowl Championship Series, which includes the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, the FedEx Orange Bowl, The Allstate Sugar Bowl and the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game.

"Sports fans are consuming content on new and different platforms every day, and our goal is to expand the reach of FOX Sports and the BCS to as many of those media platforms as possible," said FOX Sports president Ed Goren. "We have given college football fans an incredible amount of choice when looking for official BCS content online."

College football fans will be able to purchase preview shows, full-length games, highlight packages, and condensed versions of each game. They can purchase single games or the entire package, which includes and exclusive online-only highlights wrapup of all of FOX's games.

"College football fans are hungry for and all BCS content in advance of the broadcasts," said Brian Grey, Senior Vice-President of FOX Sports Interactive. "From pre-game shows to live game streaming, we are delivering the same great FOX Sports content to fans, whether they're tuning into the games on television or visiting us on the Web."

The downloads are available at several sites, including FOXSports.com, Fox Interactive Media's Direct2Drive, Apples iTunes, Amazon's Unbox, AOL Video, Cinema Now and Instant Media.

Preview shows are priced at $1.99 each; full-length games $2.99. A complete package is available for $19.99. And, of course, Monday's Auburn-Nebraska battle is absolutely free.
