thats should have been a penalty. he didn't give him 2 yards to catch the ball.
2 yard halo rule hasn't been a rule in like forever. It's back, sort of, but only a 1-yard cushion. And Clemson was definitely outside of 1 yard and almost certainly outside of 2 yards as well on the replay I saw

so why arent people just lining up and drilling the returners in hope of causing a fumble?

Muffed punt KILLED tOSU. They were dominating right before that. I thought they would drive and score and the game was close to over.

Talk to Fresno St - they were notorious for doing that in the day
