Could I get some help from fellow Huskers?

Hey guys, would you mind helping me with a surprise?

My wife is due with our first child any minute now, in fact she's overdue.

One thing she had mentioned was she wanted me to do is take a picture like below on the day the baby is born. (Maybe closer up to the paper...but best example I could find online).

I can totally handle that (I think) for the Lincoln Paper but I've always been amazed at how widespread across the country everyone on this board is. So I got to thinking,.....would you guys mind taking similar pictures from your vast locals? Even other papers in Nebraska would be cool. Not only for me or my wife, but someday for the little Husker as well. If Not I understand.

If you are interested, I'll just announce it on here on the date when our newest Husker has arrived and you guys start posting.

Won't be much longer, if nothing happens by Monday she'll be induced, so stay tuned. And thanks for reading this.

That's a great idea! But I live in a small town, so you wouldn't recognize our paper. And besides, the front page news would probly be about stuff like replacing the manhole covers on main street.

So!? I still want the pic! :-)

Unless you're worried about us using the info to track you down and ruin your super hero identity. In that case I'd completely understand.

 
Some icky medical stuff you probably don't want details about happened today leading my wife and the doc to think that the baby will be out today but I remain skeptical. I'll let you guys know!

Monday, July 27th.

I'll try and sneak out and get a shot of the Lincoln paper, anyone else around the globe that is willing to do the same would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to post after all the measurablessential had been taken, but huskerboard was showing up as being down, something about ip changes or something.....

Anyway,.... 9 lbs 1 ounce 21 1/2 inch long girl.
