Fort Morgan, CO -- Bond is set at $50,000 for a Fort Morgan City Council member arrested in connection with the discovery of an alleged methamphetamine lab at his home.
Thirty-five-year-old Mike Mese appeared for an advisement hearing yesterday in Morgan County District Court.
He's being held for investigation of several charges, including the unlawful distribution, manufacturing, dispensing, sale and possession of a Schedule Two substance - a class two felony.
Prosecutors have ten days as of yesterday to file formal charges.
Mese is a Ward Two councilman whose term expires in January.
The City Council is expected to discuss Mese's seat at its meeting later tonight.
