Countdown: October 16 Texas vs. Nebraska

I wonder if any of you would object to me posting the "O" on the 16th? I've invested a lot into this thread over the last 257 days and it would be cool if I can post the "O" for all of us. Go Big Red!

I generally like y'all. Great tradition and some of the nicest fans around. I root for Nebraska against anybody but Texas.

Let me just get this out of the way -- adding a second back to the clock last year was the correct call. I'm sorry you had your hearts ripped out like that, but the timekeeper made a mistake, the ball clearly landed out of bounds before time expired, it would have been a travesty to let the game end on a correctable mistake like that, and I don't know of a single person outside of Husker Nation who thinks otherwise. Sorry.

Back to this year... You're probably going to pound us into dust a week from Saturday. I don't remember the last time we were heading into a football game and I thought there was almost zero chance we could win it. Probably Ohio State in Austin in 2006.

So, yeah, have fun beating us down, then do me one favor -- beat Mobilehoma in the CCG like 84-0 so I can have more pictures of Bob Stoops about to cry like during their loss to Florida.

just found out i have to drive all the way back to denver as soon as the game is over. oh well, still gonna be there. Even though Texass sucks this year, it's gonna be a big one. and I can't believe it's only a week away.

 
Memorial stadium will be rocking like never before, should be just deafening.....need to send the shorthorns home with 3 straight losses...yeah baby!!!!!!!!!! chuckleshuffle
