Couple of things that I took from Saturdays game

captain k is correct. his knee hit the ground after he had both feet in bounds thus meaning the play was over.

Bo himeself, this morning, even said that after they looked it over after the game they also thought that it was a TD. he also said that the rule was applied incorrectly. i dont know about you guys, but i trust a guy that makes a living out of this game more than a few people on a message board....just sayin.....
You can think what you want but just having the feet in isn't good enough according to the rule.
...but the rule you are applying is not the correct rule! it would be different if he came down in bounds but he did not...

In bounds or out of bounds it doesn't matter. If you are falling you have to maintain possession after you hit the ground. It is the same rule as in the NFL, they changed the college rule to mimic the NFL rule a couple of years ago. You see this happen in the NFL at least once each Sunday.

to add even more.....Bo also said that when he asked the ref why that was ruled incomplete the ref told him because holt clearly bobbled the ball before he hit the ground. so the ref apparently did not even take this rule, that you are mistakenly using, into account.

after watching it on my DVR a few times it was painfully obvious that holt was not bobbling the ball and he had control of it until he relaxed his body as he hit the ground.

Ne ran well, but VT's run D sucks. They gave up nearly 300 yrd to Alabama and are averaging something like 5.5 yards allowed per rush. So is it that VT opens up like a drunken Kearney girl on prom night or that NE was able to assert their will? Little of both maybe?

I didn't realize there is a Kearney, Missouri. When is this prom night? Since its Missouri, will these girls open up for guys they are not related to? :wasted
...and will they have teeth, fever than 15 piercings and less than 40 per cent of their bodies covered with tats?
