Yes their showing it here in western illinois. Looks like my dad and step mom and sister are doing the yard sale on their own. Im not missing this.

Are all the ABC games in HD now? Previous years only some of the games were. I know all the ESPN games are in HD.

I'm just goin' off of that coverage map saying it'll be in HD. But if not no biggie, I just wanna watch it from my house.

Yes, they are all in HD this year. Thankfully. Was so annoying in the past years because it seemed everytime a Big 12 team was on ABC it wasn't in HD. Or at least it was like that a few years ago. Can't remember about last year now. Ha.

Yeah, even last year not all the games were HD. A couple years ago I read that ABC wanted to over several years buy the HD equipment for all the games they cover. That way they spread out both the initial cost and then the replacement costs down the road. I refused to watch the SD games unless it was the Huskers. Football is just meant for HD!!

Football is meant for HD, truly. It is so beautiful and really makes you appreciate it that much more. It saddens me having watch any sports in SD now...

NU-VT was not in HD on ESPN in my area, they had HD blacked out... :angry:

Oh yes. Good ol' Big 10 country here in Eastern Iowa. The whole reverse mirror system for regional coverage is so ridiculous. As if having their own all HD network wasn't enough, the Big 10 gets favored in the ABC contract as well.

I've already emailed the local affiliate to complain, but it probably won't help anything.

I'm still not 100% sure why they do it like that. It probably won't help but it can't hurt to try and let them know your opinion.

I just really hope we get a better TV deal when the Big 12's expire in the next year or two. Not exactly sure when they do though. I'm so tired of the Big 10 and SEC getting all their games on national TV even if the match up stinks and should be on PPV.
