Coverage Map

I haven't seen anyone answer the obvious question... if you're not in the blue on the HD map, why would it not still be in HD on ESPN2??? I'm in Iowa but I see no reason ESPN2 won't carry the HD feed.

I don't know why they are doing that...it just says that the places where the Nebraska game will be seen on espn2 that the HD feed will be blacked out and can be seen on the SD feed....maybe they can't have two HD feeds at the same time :dunno

Why the hell are they showing a PAC 10 game in Jonesboro, AR? Hell Arkansas at all. I am in Jonesboro, which is in north east Arkansas, less than 30 minutes from Missouri. We are near Big 12, SEC, and ACC country. What is the deal with the PAC 10? They did the same thing last year. This is supposed to have been a split national telecast, how the hell did USC get in the middle of it? :bang :boxosoap :steam
I believe the guy who programs for your local ABC affiliate decides which game will be shown in your area. He believes he'll get better ratings with the game he chose. If you call his home number 30-40 times in the middle of the night to voice your displeasure, he may order the NU game next time just to avoid the trouble. Or he'll have you arrested. It is the Huskers, so it would be worth the trouble.

Me so confused......

Out west, it looks like USC is a lock for ABC-but Espn2 is listing Neb vs. VT OR Iowa/Zona.

:WTH

Well that's a load of sh#t. I wonder if I buy ESPN Gameplan for the day, will I get it in HD then? Just seems completely ridiculous that the game is shot it HD but ESPN2 won't carry the HD signal? :bang

Well looks like I'll be purchasing this. I've already bought the brisket to smoke and invited the family and friends over to watch. Got to love how the Big 12 gets treated in SEC territory (Arkansas).

It still boggles my mind how a Top 20 matchup at a home field on a East Coast team (not even southern!) doesn't get coverage in most of the Northeast for a Pac 10 game with Washington.

I think a lot of it has to do with it involving "F'ING USC".

Lemme make sure I have this right.

1. It's the year 2009

2. The biggest CFB crew (ABC) will be covering the game and have a full set of HD cameras and equipment in Blacksburg

3. There is no way for someone not in the regional area to pick up this HD feed...

Outstanding.

I just got an email from Huskers.com with the ABC and ESPN2 coverage maps, and of course, since i'm a 10 hour ride or so from Blacksburg, I get the USC game.

And ESPN2 is showing 'Zona and Iowa...

What's ABC/ESPN gonna do as an encore, rape me anally while pouring sugar in my gas tank?????

I'm in California, went to school at the U of Az, and I couldn't give two s#@!'s about either of them.... The highest ranking matchup of the week, and we're stuck watching USC raping Washington, or the Great Turd Bowl of who's going to be the least mentioned in their own conferences....

Make sense out of this one.......

You can watch it in Des Moines as long as you have ESPN2, just not in HD for some horrible reason.
