Crab Cakes

Crab Cakes:

1 lb. Crabmeat

1 Cup Cracker Crumbs

1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder

2 Eggs

2 T. Worcestershire Sauce

2 T. Milk

1 Tsp. Hot Pepper Sauce

1 T. Mustard

Salt & Pepper, To Taste

Bacon Drippings Or Olive Oil

 

Combine all ingredients except bacon drippings or Olive Oil, if using; shape into patties.

Sauté in bacon drippings or Olive Oil in skillet until golden brown.

Wow, that makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

A couple of the things I miss most since moving from the mid-Atlantic a couple years back are Crab cakes and blue crab. :thumbs :
