Crash kills former Husker Walk-On

Michael Shada took his usual route to work Wednesday morning, the one that shaved a few minutes off his commute from Wahoo to TD Ameritrade in west Omaha. His parents had warned him about it, told him to be careful on the country roads.
He took his red Toyota Camry east on County Road L, through Mead and toward Yutan, then prepared to turn north on Yutan Road.

We never know when the Good Lord will call us home. This is a tragic loss for his family, his fiancee and his son. My thoughts and prayers are with all of them.
