Hey Husker Nation from Spurrier Country! One of my best friends is a Nebraska native transplanted to South Carolina and has been in Big Red withdrawal for years. I've become a BR fan living vicariously through him (after my beloved Gamecocks, of course - hey, we both hate Clemsux). We have been planning a trip to Wake Forest for your game scheduled for this fall for a few years. Yeah, kinda anal, huh?

Anyway, I want to give my friend one hell of an experience. Where will Husker Nation be staying, tailgating, etc.? I'd love to get him close to where the team is staying, and to tailgate with your fans. His dad is flying in from Nebraska for the game and I need to find lodging, etc. Would love the her suggestions/information from you guys.

I'm sure there will be plenty of Nebraska fans that you can "bar hoop" to different tailgates.

UNL has an alumni site, but you could probably hit up any tailgate party to join

I'm not positive about this, but I was in Winston-Salem a couple weeks ago and a cousin of mine said that he had heard Nebraska had bought out the baseball stadium right next to the football stadium all for husker fans to tailgate and watch the game on big screen tv's since the football stadium only holds 45,000 fans. So you might want to check that out.
